All IINSPIRE LSAMP research interns and members are invited to give an oral poster presentation and/or present a research or experiential poster. The poster session is also open to other students as well. Oral and poster submissions will be peer-reviewed and accepted for presentation based on merit and availability of space. Students who wish to present must submit an abstract detailing the content of their presentation. Additional information is provided below.
Please submit your poster abstract as early as possible to be considered.
Oral Presentation Details
Must submit a 200-250 word abstract detailing the content of the presentation
Topics of interest included any STEM-related research done by the student.
Presenters will be given 10 minutes to present.
Include NSF acknowledgments and/or any other funding acknowledgments in the presentation.
Poster Session Details
Must submit a 200-250 word abstract detailing the content of the presentation.
Topics of interest included any STEM-related research or creative work done by the student.
Poster dimensions should not exceed 4′ x 4′.
Include NSF acknowledgments and/or any other funding acknowledgments.
Do NOT laminate the poster
Oral presentations will be judged and cash awards will be given to the top 3 presenters.
Student posters will be judged in 2 categories, research and experiential. Cash awards will be given in the top 3 places of each category.
Deadline to submit an abstract is January 19, 2018.
